Must we look up to the sky to feel the hand of God
When all we need to do is look within each other?
Must we walk the distance to sight the land of God
If our safest haven is already the womb of a mother?
Must nature victimize us, and call that the wrath of God
Alhough a disappointed look is our common fear?
Must overwhelming sorrow claim the death of God
If life is a collision course from which we cannot veer?
Must shrines and tomes enlighten us with teachings that are God’s?
Don’t we see God’s own handwriting in our ecstasy and pain?
Must man-made monuments prove to us the wonders of God?
Ah but we wonder more at nature – the wind, the snow, the rain!
Must miracles teach us of the benevolence of God?
To think, compassion comes from within… or maybe above?!
Must statues cry, apparitions form, so we awe the works of God?
God works through every one of us – and we call it Love
“God” is different to Antichrist, Atheist, Agnostic, and Believer
Is it Energy, Life, Love? King or Redeemer?
What matters is not how we perceive God, or pray, or grow the fame…
What matters is in our hearts – our deeds uphold the name
